Centre Dean Collis is set to shrug off the dead leg that forced him off against Widnes Vikings in time for this weekend’s clash with Hull KR (kick-off: 3.30pm).
The Australian limped off the field early on in the second half with his leg heavily strapped, but speaking in today’s Yorkshire Evening Post, Head Coach Richard Agar believes there will be no problems in Collis being fit for the visit of the Robins.
There was less good news for prop Kyle Amor, with the Cumbrian ruled out for up to eight weeks with a broken hand that was being operated on today (Tuesday).
Agar told the YEP: “Kyle has gone all right in our last couple of games. He gives us a bit of punch up front and was coming along really well.
“He is pretty down about it, but he will get it operated on and he’ll start his recovery from then. We will get him back as quick as we can.
“I’d expect, on a nine-day turnaround, that he’d (Dean Collis) be fit for the Hull KR game this Sunday.”
