Ali Lauitiiti conceded there were far too many errors on Saturday night as the Wildcats went down to Bradford Bulls.
After a solid enough first half showing, the Wildcats coughed up penalties and mistakes in the second forty minutes to hand field position to the Bulls who capitalised with Ben Jeffries at the forefront of their attacks.
Lauitiiti says it was across the park where the team need to be much better.
“We’re all disappointed and really down,” he said after the game.
“I think everyone on that field made mistakes and it was one of those days. But all credit to Bradford.
“In Super League you can’t give away too many penalties against any team and that was the result. Ill discipline just went right through the team.
“We know we’ve got a big week now to work on all of the stuff we need to work on, and there’s heaps.
“The boys are always hard on themselves and we could have been a bit better at executing our plays and completing our sets.
“It gets harder and harder every week. We just need to try and build momentum, play good footie and not worry about the result, just worry about playing well.”
The Wildcats will have the chance to rectify things this coming Sunday when they travel to the KC Stadium to face Hull FC, with travel to the game just £8 for members and £9 for non-members.
Tickets are on sale priced at £25 for adults, £19 for concessions and £14 for under 16’s.
Tickets and travel can be bought at the Wildcats retail outlet in the Ridings Centre, at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium box office or by calling 01924 201548.
