WINNERS ALL ROUND AT THE 2ND M2R WORKSHOP

M2R, official recruitment partners of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, gave job seekers a helping hand last week as they held their second, successful, free job hunting workshop at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

The event was once again very well received with 10 people in attendance, all giving positive, encouraging feedback. As well as a whole host of employment and job hunting pointers, three attendees left with more than just advice as they were the lucky winners of a ticket competition ran by the award winning recruitment firm.

The Wildcats and m2r would like to congratulate Mr Michael Chandler, Mr Michael Bates and Mr Steven Rudge who have all won a pair of tickets to the Wildcats’ home clash against the Bradford Bulls on Saturday 25th February. m2r will be sponsoring this match and look forward to welcoming the competition winners to join them at the game.

The global recruitment firm offered help and advice to the attendees last Wednesday regarding CV preparation, interview techniques and job searching throughout a three hour workshop in the Wildcats Learning Zone, led by M2R’s Louise Goody. The delegates all left with an information pack and were given the opportunity to stay behind and go through their own CV with a recruitment specialist.

After the success of the inaugral workshop back in December, the second event has proved to be just as beneficial with an array of postive feedback from the attendees. One delegate, Mr Edward Lodge, had nothing but praise for the advice filled morning.

“The workshop was very well presented, informative, relevant and had a wealth of useful information,” he said.

“The one-to-one meeting with Louise (at the end) was extremely useful as I received specific advice on my personal situation.”

Louise Goody added, “These workshops have proved to strengthen people‚Äôs chances of obtaining response from applications, interviews and of course the end goal, a new job.

“We look forward to hearing from the attendees and supporting them into their new roles. Munir, the Managing Director of m2r, is in Bahrain this week presenting another workshop so we look forward to the feedback there!”
