Wildcats supporters are being given the chance to vote and win with the brand new Kitchens by Design Try of the Month competition on Wildcats TV.
Each and every month supporters will be able to vote via the clubs official Facebook and Twitter pages for their favourite try of the month from the shortlist on Wildcats TV and you can watch February’s HERE.
If the try you vote for comes out as the winner then you’ll go into the hat to win the opportunity to present the Try of the Month prize and get two tickets to an upcoming game.
The Try of the Month competition is sponsored by Horbury Bridge-based ‘Kitchens by Design’, run by Directors and Wildcats fans Mr. Martin Osborne & Mr. Jonathan Cockell.
Kitchens by Design offer the Supply, Design & Installation of Kitchens & Bedrooms. They can supply the Kitchen or Bedroom for the customer to install themselves or oversee the complete project from start to finish including building work, electrical work, gas work, plumbing work, Plastering, joinery work and also finishing touches like Tiling & Decorating. Just leave it to the experts.
Wildcats Media and Marketing Manager, Andy Morgan, said: “We’re sure this new competition will be a hit with supporters and it gives us another way to interact with our fanbase through our Facebook and Twitter pages which are growing all the time.
“I’m sure there will be some great tries scored throughout the campaign and come the end of the season we’ll be able to put all the monthly winners together and once again allow fans to pick their try of the season.
“It’s great that Kitchens by Design are sponsoring the competition and I’m sure as big Wildcats fans Martin and Jonathan will be among the first to vote!”
The nominations for February’s Kitchens by Design Try of the Month are:
A – Tim Smith vs. Widnes Vikings
The scrum-half showed dancing footwork to leave the Vikings defence floundering for a fantastic try in front of the Wildcats travelling supporters.
B – Peter Fox’s second try vs. Widnes Vikings
The flying winger marked his return to the club with two tries, the second involving an offload from Kyle Wood and good hands from Danny’s Washbrook and Kirmond to put Fox in at the corner to complete an opening round win.
C – Andy Raleigh vs. Hull KR
The prop made it two tries in as many games and the nomination is as much for Tim Smith’s brilliantly timed bullet inside pass that gave the Wildcats number 10 a simple run to the line.
D – Ben Cockayne vs. Bradford Bulls
The Wildcats got off to a flying start against the Bulls with a perfectly weighted kick to the corner by Isaac John matched by the speed and desire of Cockayne to chase it down and end the first set with a fantastic opening try.
