You can’t fail to have noticed that last week’s match against the Dragons was part of the Sport Relief round of matches and included especially made Sport Relief balls.
The Wildcats Community Trust organised Sport Relief miles around the Rapid Solicitors Stadium pitch and also from Trinity Walk to the stadium, with just short of £3,000 being raised by those who took part.
To add to that total and help Sport Relief continue with the fantastic work they do around the UK and the rest of the world to help disadvantaged people, the Wildcats are auctioning three of the official match balls used against the Dragons, each of which has been signed by the Wildcats first team squad.
There were only five of the balls used in total against the Dragons, so it is an opportunity to get your hands on a unique piece of rugby league memorabilia.
The silent auction for the match balls will close at 5pm on Thursday 5th April, with the winning bidders being notified and presented with their unique match balls at ‘The City is Ours’ derby on Good Friday.
A reserve of £50 per ball has already been placed, so if you would like to bid please e-mail your name, contact telephone number and the amount you wish to bid to firstname.lastname@example.org
