PLAYERS AND DOLLS SUPPORT WAKEFIELD HOSPICE FASHION SHOW

posted on 6 March 2012

Members of the Wildcats first team and the Wildcat Dolls will give their support to a fashion show in aid of two great causes this Thursday night.

Tim Smith, Matty Wildie and James Davey will join the Dolls on the catwalk.

Matty Wildie, James Davey and Tim Smith will be joining forces with the Dolls, ‘Hoops a Daisy’ and Frank Bird for a special fashion show at Harratts Volvo on Barnesley Road in aid of Wakefield Hospice.

Lifelong fan Stewart Foster and his family have arranged the event in memory of their father who passed away last year.

The Wakefield Hospice, with help from Neurological Education Fund played a huge part in the well-being of Stewart’s father in the final weeks of his life and they would like to show their appreciation by raising as much money as they can for the two causes.

Entry into the fashion show which is £10, with a champagne reception, an array of different stalls including beauty, cupcakes, handbags and jewellery and the chance to see our very own dancers in action modelling prom and wedding dresses from ‘Hoops a Daisy’ and the three players in morning, dinner and wedding suits with doors opening at 7pm.

As well as preparing for the fashion show and this weekend’s fixture against the Giants, the Wildcat Dolls have got a busy week ahead.

This coming Saturday four of the girls will be working at the Barclays Premier League match between Everton and Tottenham game in their role as Dolls promotions team, working alongside Huge Media.

They will then travel around Liverpool, finishing at the Liverpool Olympia at a Championship Boxing event whilst there will also be Dolls performing as Stockport County face Cambridge United and at the Sheffield Skate Arena for the Steel City Spartans boxing event.

The Dolls will then return home to the Rapid Solicitors Stadium to perform as the Wildcats prepare to face the Giants but there will also be some of the girls at the De Vere Hotel at the Reebok Stadium greeting guests as they arrive for the Coldwell Boxing event ‘Vicous Intentions’ where they will be performing alongside band ‘BB’.

All-in-all it is a very busy week for the Dolls and you can keep up with all that’s going on including the latest picture updates on Twitter by following @WildcatDolls!
