Good Friday will decide whether it’s city or town who have the bragging rights on the field, but off it the two clubs will meet where brains will win over brawn.

The Good Friday derby is just three weeks away

First team players from both the Wildcats and Tigers will go head-to-head in ‘The City is Ours’ quiz night in Cats Bar on Tuesday 27th March from 7.30pm.

Danny Kirmond, Ben Cockayne and Oliver Wilkes will take on three members of the Tigers first team squad to see who has the best sporting knowledge.

You can be there and be a part of the night with audience participation rounds with your chance to win some fantastic prizes.

There will also be the opportunity for you to put your questions to the players from both sides just ten days before the most eagerly anticipated game of any season.

Entry is just £2 on the door with all door proceeds being split between the Wildcats Community Trust and the Tigers Trust with doors opening at 6.45pm.

Tickets for the game against the Tigers are on sale now and if you buy before March 27th you can upgrade to Silver Membership for just £10 (normally £30), thus guaranteeing you advance sale savings on every home game throughout the remainder of the 2012 campaign.

Tickets cost from just £20 for adults and £12 for juniors/concessions.

Buy in either the Wildcats Retail Outlet in the Ridings Shopping Centre, at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium Box Office, by calling 01924 201548 or online.

On Good Friday 6th April it’s time for Wildcats fans everywhere to show that the city is ours!

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
