The Wildcats have secured a substantial commercial investment this week with FleetMaster OSS Ltd becoming the new sponsors of the North Stand.

Wildcats Commercial Manager Martin Hopkins and FleetMaster OSS Operations Director Nick Boocock mark the sponsorship deal.

The recently completed Stand will bear the branding of Ossett-based FleetMaster OSS for the remainder of the 2012 campaign and the 2013 season, with the North Stand now to be known as the FleetMaster OSS Stand.

FleetMaster OSS are a local company who work on a national scale operating a wide diversity and size of projects with some of the biggest names in the logistics industry.

The company began in logistics a decade ago but have since used their expertise as a training company to offer classroom based teaching, working with businesses, the unemployed and local school children.

Run by John Boocock and his two sons Jamie and Nick, FleetMaster OSS were founded in 2001 with the specific aim to assist fleet operators meet both their legal and moral obligations regarding safe vehicle operation and well trained and developed drivers and staff.

They first became involved with the Wildcats in 2011 and prior to the license announcement that season signed the deal to be shirt sponsors for the very first time in 2012 with their logo proudly residing on the back of Wildcats home and away shirts.

Wildcats Commercial Manager, Martin Hopkins, described the partnership as a significant one for the club.

“It’s great news to have secured a naming rights deal for the North Stand and we’re pleased that it has come with a local company too,” commented Martin.

“Within their field FleetMaster OSS are a well known and very well respected company and the exposure they will get from their branding on the Stand in addition to their shirt sponsorship can only help to allow them to expand.

“This is a very significant agreement for the club and it’s a partnership that could reap more benefits for both parties moving forward.”
