BERNARD PRIOR RIP – 1934-2012

posted on 18 June 2012

It is with great sadness that the Club learned this weekend of the death of former Trinity hooker Bernard Prior.

Bernard Prior RIP

Prior played 27 games between 1966 and 1968 in the red, white and blue, and was part of the 1967 Championship winning side that defeated St. Helens 21-9 in the final.

His career also saw him make 158 appearances for Leeds and 149 appearances for Hunslet.

A minute’s silence will be held in his memory ahead of tonight’s game at Headingley Carnegie and everyone at the Club send our deepest condolences to his family and friends at this time.

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
