Tomorrow see’s the first of a Rugby league Nines double header at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium with a fun-filled evening expected at the home of the Wildcats.

Wakefield is set to host an action packed night of Nines action.

Trinity have had a fantastic start to the competition winning five out of their opening six matches and look to continue that form with a further three fixtures tomorrow. Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Rovers and Huddersfield travel to Wakefield to take part in the third festival of the competition.

The Wildcats get the action underway in a night sponsored by MRF Engineering from 7pm as they face the Giants but the activities start from 6pm with touch rugby taking place in the hour leading up to the first kick-off.

The Wildcat Dolls will be in attendance along with the Kittens and the mascot’s race will not be one to miss as Danny Cool looks to take the crown of the top speedster of the evening plus there’s a bouncy castle for the kids to enjoy.

Hospitality is available for just £15 which a hot & cold buffet, a fantastic view from the 1873 Suite balcony and you will be accompanied by first team players.

The Wildcats are hosting Nines events on June 12th and 19th.

It is bound to be an exciting night as the hosts look to maintain a push to make it to finals night at Headingley Carnegie on Tuesday 26th June.

The revolutionary format is a great way to see where your money from Club 1873 goes with a host of academy products making a name for themselves. Lucas Walshaw who started in the victory over Hull FC on Sunday earned his chance at a Super League recall due to his fine form in the nine-a-side code.

Walshaw is one of a stream of academy products that have benefited directly from Club 1873 as all money raised goes to help the renowned youth system.

The team will once again be wearing their specially designed Club 1873 shirts which have proved popular since they made their debut in the Nines at Castleford last Tuesday. If you are yet to sign up to Club 1873 then tomorrow is a perfect opportunity to do so and you can be part of helping identify and develop local talent to enter Richard Agar’s first team plans.

For just £2 a week you can help raise money for the clubs academy and be entered into a weekly draw to win a guaranteed £250 and much more.

Entry to the Nines will cost £3 for adults / concessions and is fee for under 16’s.
