When Wakefield Wildcats beat Leeds Rhinos 38-18 in the last home game it was not just a memorable night for the first team as the club unveiled HB Clark as the new sponsors of the Hospitality Stand.
After announcing an exciting new partnership last month whereby HB Clark through Molson Coors are now the club’s official drinks partners, HB Clarks now also have the naming rights of the hospitality stand until the end of the 2013 season and in return the Trinity supporters will benefit from being supplied premium beverages from the brewery.
HB Clark are over 100 years old since being established in 1906 and now supply over 4,000 customers and employ more than 300 people which is headed up by owner David Garthwaite who actually played for Trinity in the 1960’s.
The Wildcats are to benefit from the new partnership by giving the clubs supporters a greater range of alcoholic and soft drinks and catering for all occasions.
The club will be seeking advice from HB Clark’s about a number of issues including the appearance of the bars and ways to progress such areas as the bottle bars and kiosks around the ground, not just the hospitality stand.
The deal will not just help the matchday experience but also help events and functions for clients who use the stadium throughout the year.
Wildcats Chief Executive James Elston commented: “It’s great to have developed the partnership with HB Clark further and their expertise in this area will help us further enhance our functions and events.
“It is a big side of the business and we need to ensure that we are doing everything we can to ensure that when people come to the stadium for matchdays and functions that they are having a fantastic time and wanting to come back again and again.”
