Wakefield Wildcats are continuing their engagement with local amateur clubs this evening as first teamers Kyle Trout and Paul Sykes visit Stanley Rangers.
The Trinity duo will be in attendance between 6-7pm and will help take a coaching session for Stanley under 7’s and 8’s. Kyle Trout in particular will be welcomed with open arms to the club where it all started for the second-rower where he is sure to catch up with some familiar faces.
With his recent on field performances there is no doubt drop-goal sensation Sykes will be showing the children how to kick a perfect one-pointer in the initiative to bring the Wildcats closer to the local community.
That is not all though as the Wildcats are offering the amateur clubs incentives to sell Memberships for 2013 as £5 from every season Membership sold goes directly to their club. It costs just £25 for a junior season ticket and £5 of that will go to Stanley for every membership sold. That means money raised will help the club pay for equipment, playing kits and facilities to help the future stars.
The club are aiming to reach 4,000 members before the end of October and players from Richard Agar’s first team squad are continuing to visit local clubs to pass on some of their expert knowledge and experience.
That’s not all though because if you purchase your Membership before the end of the month and Trinity reach 1,000 members by that date, you will be placed in a draw to win a match day experience with Richard Agar and his coaching staff for a fixture next season.
If you know of anybody that is under the age of eight and would like to join a team then come along to Stanley Sports and Social Club, Lee Moor Road, WF3 4EQ from 6pm this evening and sign up at Stanley while purchasing your 2013 Wakefield Wildcats Gold Membership.
If any other amateur clubs would like a visit from the Wildcats plus the chance to earn some cash for their club then contact the Wildcats on 01924 211611 and ask to speak to Andy or email email@example.com.
