Wakefield Wildcats have once again teamed up with official leisure partner Total Fitness with the highly successful chain donating two fitness bikes to add to the player facilities at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.
Total Fitness have provided the bikes which are more commonly seen in spin classes to aid in preparation and recovery for matches from the first team to scholarship games, offering even better equipment for Trinity to compete at the highest level.
One machine is permanently kept in the indoor warm up area while the other bike is situated next to the home dugout as an aid for the players to be up to speed before entering the field of play as shown by Wildcats prop Andy Raleigh (left).
Total Fitness has three swimming pools, catering for different needs while the fully-equipped gyms have over 250 pieces of cardiovascular and resistance equipment, large free weights area for all abilities.
They kindly donate a weekly family pass as a Club 1873 prize each and every week as well as exclusive Gold Member offers through the year.
The Wildcats have been associated with Total Fitness over a number of years with players using their facilities on a regular basis for a variety of exercises including the use of their swimming pool for a warm down after games and rehab with the range of equipment making the gym experience a pleasant one.
Strength and Conditioner, Martin Clawson, commented: “Having the bikes on site is a great benefit to us in preparation for sessions and also on matchdays.
“I’d like to thank Total Fitness for donating the two bikes as another way to assist us in our preparation and recovery.”
