With the Wildcats final Super League fixture of the season against Salford being moved to this Saturday evening, ‘Celebrate Wakefield’ has had to be rescheduled to Sunday.
The end of season awards evening was due to take place on Saturday 8th September and is now scheduled for Sunday 9th September with all timings and details exactly the same.
After winning nine out of the last thirteen games to catapult the Wildcats into the play-off places, the final potentially decisive game against Salford City Reds was moved for TV coverage.
It may be a different date, but a fantastic night is still in store for all supporters in attendance at The Kings Croft, Pontefract as a four course meal will be served at the black tie event along with music from a Robbie Williams tribute act and of course celebrating a superb year of progression on and off the field with the player and club awards.
Tickets already purchased for the event are all valid for the new date with the same evening of entertainment, just one day later as Richard Agar and the team will hopefully be celebrating a place in the play-offs.
The club hopes all the loyal supporters who have purchased tickets for Celebrate Wakefield can travel to Lancashire to support the players before spending Sunday evening enjoying the presentations and celebrate a fantastic season of progression, no matter what the outcome against Salford.
If you cannot attend ‘Celebrate Wakefield’ due to the event now taking place on Sunday and have already purchased tickets then please contact Steven Beeton on 01924 211611 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
