The Wildcats first team squad will thank the players for their support during 2012 after the game this evening.

The first team squad will thank-you for your support at the end of tonight's game and fans are advised that they will NOT be allowed on the pitch.

Captain Danny Kirmond will lead the squad around the pitch to thank-you for your support as the Wildcats have made a late charge to be in contention of making the play-offs.  It has been a fantastic year for the club, with home crowds up around 30% on 2011 and the travelling army of Wakefield fans being loud and proud on the road.

Players will be interviewed as they make their way around the pitch and fans are advised that they are NOT to make their way onto the pitch under any circumstances.

The Wildcats support the RFL Respect campaign and anyone spoiling the matchday experience for other supporters will be dealt with accordingly.  Flyers with the Respect text number will be handed out at the game today, and anyone witnessing any behaviour that they feel is unacceptable are asked to either inform the nearest steward or text the number with the location and nature of the incident.

Anyone found to be abusing the text service will also be dealt with.  The Wildcats pride themselves on being a club with a family friendly environment to enjoy the game and will not allow any individuals to stop this being the case.

Make sure you’re at the game tonight against Widnes (kick-off: 6.45pm) and make sure you’re loud and proud behind the Wildcats in the race for the play-offs!

Tickets will be available on the gate this evening.
