Wakefield Wildcats pair Oliver Wilkes and Vince Mellars will be in the Ridings Centre from 11.30am tomorrow for the Christmas lights switch on in the shopping centre.

Oliver Wilkes will join Vince Mellars in the Ridings Centre Store from 11.30am tomorrow.

Both first team players will be available for autographs and pictures in the official Wildcats store exactly one week after the 2013 shirts were unveiled. Both home and away jerseys have sold extremely quickly with the red, white and blue faithful snapping up the popular kits with the duo in store between 11.30-12.30.

The festive fun starts from 11am on Saturday with a performance by our very own Wildcat Kittens while from 3.15pm there will be a performance by an X Factor finalist to turn on the lights before performing a number of tracks and meeting shoppers.

That’s not all what’s happening tomorrow in Wakefield as the brand new Trinity Walk outlet will be opening from 9am and will exclusively feature a selection of new training wear designed by Fi-ta including t-shirts vests and shorts so there is no better time to get kitted out in your Wildcats training wear.

2013 training vest is now available for £24.99

The brand new training t-shirts are priced at £29.99 for adults, £24.99 for juniors. Vests are priced at £24.99, perfect for the gym and as modelled by Wildcats hooker Paul Aiton (right) while training shorts are also in stock for £26.99.

Wildcats General Manager Davide Longo is pleased with the quality of the new training wear.

“For the 2013 season our supporters will be able to purchase and wear the full range of training and leisurewear that the players will be dressed in. This is not a privilege that our supporters have had in the past but with Fi-ta working with us we are confident our supporters will be delighted with the products.

“We do not have the full range it will all be arriving before Christmas with new products arriving every week.”

The new retail unit which is situated opposite the Chinese Buffet restaurant will also be stocked with replica shirts for 2013, just as it was for the shirt launch but from now on accessories and merchandise will be available to increase the Wildcats presence in the city centre.

The Trinity Walk shop will be open 9am-5pm tomorrow and throughout the week while on Sunday’s the unit will be open 10.30am – 4pm.
