Wakefield Wildcats prop Justin Poore is free to make his home debut against Featherstone on Sunday after being charged with a Grade A offence of punching on Boxing Day.

Justin Poore is free to make his home debut on Sunday.

The Australian was sent-off 18 minutes into his debut for an altercation with Leeds Rhinos forward Ryan Bailey and has used an early guilty plea to admit the offence at Headingley Carnegie. Poore has escaped suspension but has lost the right to sumbit an early guilty plea for the next 12 months.

Poore can now be confirmed in Richard Agar’s squad for the friendly against Featherstone at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium on Sunday (kick-off 3pm).

The front-rower could be joined by Reece Lyne and Brad Singleton in making first appearances in the red, white and blue at the home of the Wildcats.

Rovers are going to have a strong squad on show too with half-back partnership Liam Finn and Andy Kain likely to start against Trinity. Former Wildcats hooker Andy Ellis is set to return to his former home too after his off-season departure to the Big Fellas Stadium while fellow former Super League player Kyle Briggs should start at loose-forward.

Tickets are available for £10 adults if members purchase before Sunday or will be £12 on the day while concessions and juniors will be charged £5 for the first rugby league fixture at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium in 2013.

You can pre-purchase your tickets from any of our retail outlets at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium Box Office, Ridings Centre or Trinity Walk stores or by calling 01924 211611 / 201548.
