Wakefield Wildcats winger Peter Fox has told the clubs matchday magazine ‘The Trinity’ he can’t wait to return to the Rapid Solicitors Stadium this evening.
The clubs official programme returns for 2013 where you can hear from the former Rovers ace amongst a host of other Wildcats personnel.
In a little taster to the interview with the Wildcats number 2, Fox says he can’t wait for the fixture this evening:
“I do look forward to playing them (Rovers). I look forward to playing in any game but obviously I was at Rovers for four years and I have a lot of memories there and probably kicked off my career. I played for England while I was there so I had a great time there.
“I achieved a lot of things and I was sad to leave but I’m at Wakefield now and I’m really happy and enjoying myself, I’m very settled and I can’t wait for the game this Saturday.”
Fox described their performance at Bradford as ‘embarrassing’ but is aiming to show the supporters that made the effort last Sunday that they mean business in 2013.
“I was really happy with the fans that turned out and I think Wakefield were really good supporters last year, just like they will be this year.
“Rovers are going to bring a lot of fans across, I know because I’ve been there they are going to be loud and hopefully our fans can match theirs and it will be a really good atmosphere, especially in front of the cameras live on sky so I can’t wait.”
The 56-page edition has feature length interviews with first teamers Matty Wildie and the former Rovers man Fox. The Chairman’s column returns once again with Andrew Glover giving his views ahead of the new campaign as Richard Agar reflects on last week’s performance at Bradford and how eager the team are to play in front of the red, white and blue army once again.
Many more of your usual features return once again for just £2.50 it is an essential read for Wildcats supporters.
