Join in the fun this Easter break with the Ben Cockayne Multi-Sports Camp and Camp Dolls!

Join the fun at the Wildcats camps.

The four-day events over the Easter Holidays are now available to book which include a wide range of activities that are not to be missed!

Children from the age of six have the option to book onto the multi-sports or Dolls camp which both get underway on Tuesday 2nd April and finish on Friday 5th April. All the activities will take place at the Thornes Park Campus of Wakefield College.

Wildcats star Cockayne will have a hand in the multi-sport camp after he was called up by England head coach Steve McNamara recently with the fans favourite a great athlete to admire and there’s the chance to meet him and other members of the Wildcats squad. Experience a wide range of sports, including games you will never have played before in a fun and exciting way.

As well as trying out new sports the fully qualified Wakefield Community Trust sports team will develop skills and confidence at the popular more mainstream sports such as rugby and football. Every single child will receive four days of top class coaching by the award winning Community Trust staff and will enjoy a positive and active experience at fulfilling all games.

There will be much more than rugby on offer as football, basketball, athletics, dodgeball amongst a number of other exciting activities will be played.

‘Camp Dolls’ is for those who want to be on a stage performing!  Just like the multi-sport camp, this has a host of different chances to learn skills in the performing arts, including dance, singing and acting.

The children will receive top class instruction from a number of the clubs qualified performing arts teachers and Wildcat Dolls seniors. They will provide a diverse programme throughout the week culminating in an end of week performance where parents have the option to come and watch.

Both camps are charged at just £40 which is incredible value for a four-day camp and is a fantastic fun way to spend your Spring half-term.

If you want to book or know anybody that may be interested in participating during the Easter holidays then register HERE.

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact one of our community staff Dan, Richard or James on 01924 211 611.
