The Wakefield Community Trust are please to inform fans that there will be a way for you to make your mark within your local community through a number of new and exciting volunteer opportunities this season.

Volunteer opportunities with the Wakefield Community Trust.

The Community Trust team are looking for able and willing volunteers to help and support the awarding winning community programme delivery throughout the Wakefield district.

As a Wakefield Community Trust Volunteer you will have a choice of being involved in a variety of ways dependant on what you want and feel you would be best suited to. Volunteering Opportunities for the Trust include involvement with:

-       The schools curriculum and after school sports programmeideal for those with previous experience in education/sports coaching or those wishing to peruse pathways in that field.

-       Classroom based school support programme held at Rapid Solicitors stadiumgreat for individuals with a passion for mentoring, education and working with young people.

-       Holiday activity campsPerfect for energetic, eager and enthusiastic people who are actively involved in sport or physical activity.

-       Match DaysThe community department is always a hive of activity during match days and there are numerous roles that volunteers could help with from refereeing junior games to supporting the fan zone etc

-       ….and much more
