Wildcats head coach Richard Agar has named an unchanged squad for the third successive Super League game as his side travel to take on Wigan Warriors this Sunday, kick-off 3pm.
After suffering a series of injuries around a month ago the Wakefield boss now has a fully fit squad to choose from following the double header over Easter.
Trinity have had mixed fortunes over the last week after beating local rivals Castleford 37-16 before falling short 34-22 at home to Hull FC on Easter Monday. Agar has given an update on his team news ahead of the visit to the DW Stadium.
“We’ve got one or two sore bodies as you’d expect this time of year,” the head coach admitted.
“I think that affected us on Monday’s game, I said it after the game I don’t think the opposition beat us, I felt we beat ourselves in a lot of respects.
“We have got the option of some fresh blokes and that’s the pleasing thing for us. We have got some guys that haven’t played any games at all over Easter and we feel they’re fit, fresh and probably ready for an opportunity so we’ll have a good look where we are.”
The squad in full to take on Wigan:
1. Richard MATHERS
2. Peter FOX
3. Dean COLLIS
4. Lee SMITH
5. Ben COCKAYNE
6. Paul SYKES
7. Tim SMITH
