The Wildcats under 19s are in action this evening at the Rapid Solicitors as they host Leeds Rhinos (kick-off 7pm) in a rearranged fixture from earlier in the season.
Wakefield’s academy will be looking to make it back-to-back victories after beating Featherstone 28-20 on Saturday. Head coach Stuart Dickens has named a strong squad which includes captain Corbyn Kilday, Ben Shulver, Danny Maskill and Brad Day.
Why not head to the home of the Wildcats and watch the future stars which includes two youngsters who made their first team debuts just last month in a 66-6 victory over Hemel Stags.
The fixture provides the perfect opportunity for a Wildcats double header with the first team in action in the Tetley’s Challenge Cup against Hull on Friday evening.
They Rhinos are set to provide the under 19s toughest test yet as they have won their opening 12 fixtures and are top of the table with Wakefield in ninth position.
The 18-man squad to take on the Rhinos:
Mathew Cook, Curtis Macdonald, Sam Doherty, Brandon Conway, Tom Johnstone, Scott Lee, Josh Kittrick, Ben Shulver, Josh Murphy, James Healy, Brad Day, Jack Walton, Corbyn Kilday, Danny Maskill, Jack Anderson, Reece Trout, Connor Wick and Jack Teanby.
Wildcats Gold Members can watch the future stars free of charge while non-members are charged just £3 for adults while juniors and concessions are £1.
