Around 100 people have already signed up to take part in ‘Play for Life’ before next week’s Wigan game including the Wildcat Dolls!
Not happy with just entertaining the crowds with their dancing a week on Sunday, the girls will be looking to show that they’re nifty footwork for dance routines comes in handy during a game of touch rugby.
The girls will be joining men and women in playing touch rugby to raise money for two great causes in the Wakefield Community Trust and Cancer Research UK whereby individuals can experience what it’s like to follow in the footsteps of Super League’s finest talents and earn potentially earn themselves Wildcats merchandise and tickets in the process.
So, how does it work? Simply sign up for Play for Life as an individual or as part of a team and the more money you raise the better for the two charities and for you!
ENGAGE (min £30) – Wildcats vs. Warriors match ticket and Play for Life T-shirt presentation at half-time on the pitch.
INSPIRE (£50-£70) – Wildcats vs. Warriors match ticket, Play for Life T-shirt presentation at half-time on the pitch and a Wildcats FiTa Polo shirt.
ACHIEVE (£70+) – Wildcats vs. Warriors match ticket, Play for Life T-shirt presentation at half-time on the pitch and the choice of a Wildcats FiTa Product which include Rain Jacket, Coaches Jacket or polo shirt plus a complimentary ticket to Wildcats vs London Broncos on Sunday 23rd June.
Play for Life is open to anyone over the age of 14 with teams of six players required and no limit on how many players can be in a squad, although it is recommended that there are no more than ten.
