TAUTAI SET FOR MAGIC DEBUT

posted on 23 May 2013

Taulima Tautai is expected to make his debut against Castleford on Saturday after being included in the Wildcats 19-man squad for the derby clash at the Magic Weekend (2.15pm).

Prop Taulima Tautai is set to debut on Saturday.

The giant prop should be joined by Ali Lauitiiti who missed the trip to Hull KR last week. Matty Wildie is also in the 19-man squad as Jon Molloy and Vince Mellars miss out. Tautai could join fellow front-rower Kyle Amor in the pack who will celebrate his 100th career appearance if selected.

Wakefield will be looking to get back to winning ways after the defeats in Hull in the last two weeks but their form against Castleford has been much better of late. The Wildcats have won the last three games against the Tigers which included a 32-26 success at the Etihad Stadium in 2012.

Trinity head coach Richard Agar admits he could ring the changes on Saturday.

“We expect to get Ali back this week, Taulima has a chance of playing while Reece Lyne missed out last week so he’s back in contention.

“It’s an understatement to say we were disappointed last week so a lot of these players have a strong chance of playing this weekend.”
