Wakefield Wildcats academy are in action this Saturday against Sheffield and are desperate to make amends for their hugely disappointing defeat to Wigan last week.

Danny Maskill is expected to feature for the academy.

The under 19s kick-off at 2pm against the Eagles youngsters as the Wildcats look to do the double over them after the 22-12 victory at the Don Valley Stadium. Tries from Tom Johnstone, Luke Metcalf, Jamahl Hunte and Josh Murphy made sure of the victory in March.

Make sure you head down to the Rapid Solicitors Stadium with Gold Members receiving entry for free on production of their season ticket booklet. The fixture is the second of four consecutive home games which all take place on Saturday at 2pm.

First-teamer Ben Shulver is expected to line-up in the front-row while Danny Maskill who also debuted n the Tetley’s Challenge Cup is set to feature once again along with captain and loose-forward Corbyn Kilday.

The 19-man squad to face Sheffield:

Curtis McDonald,  Jamahl Hunte, Sam Doherty,  Brandon Conway,  Tom Johnstone, Scott Lee, Mitch Vincent, Ben Shulver, Josh Murphy, James Healy, Tom Rogers, Jack Walton, Corbyn Kilday, Danny Maskill, Reece Trout, Jack Teanby, Luke Metcalfe, Josh Kittrick, Jack Anderson.

While Gold Members receive access to all academy games absolutely free, non-members are only charged £3 adults and just £1 concessions / juniors to pay on the turnstile.
