AGAR NAMES 19-MAN SQUAD TO FACE LONDON

posted on 21 June 2013

Wakefield Wildcats are set to welcome back prop forward Andy Raleigh against London at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium who comes into the 19-man squad in place of suspended Paul Aiton.

Matty Wildie will start against London on Sunday.

Head coach Richard Agar has also confirmed Matty Wildie will start the game which is set to celebrate Trinity’s 140 year anniversary with a bumper crowd expected for Sunday’s important home clash.

The Wildcats have organised a fantastic fun day ahead of hosting the Broncos while slashing ticket prices to just £5 for adults while juniors get to see a full game of Super League free of charge!

Centre Dean Collis will be hoping to continue his form which has seen him score in the Wildcats last four games and he’ll be looking to keep that run going to celebrate signing his new three year contract last week.

“We haven’t decided on our team yet,” admitted the Wildcats head coach.

“Andy Raleigh is back in the 19-man and he has a chance of coming into the 17 but we lose Paul Aiton so Kyle Wood will probably be the favourite to step up into that role and Matty Wildie will start the game.

“I’m pleased for Matty because he has had to wait an awful long time for his chance and right from the off he has impressed me. He’s a super club man and a great guy to have around the place and he’s been patient and now he’s earned himself an opportunity.

“He played really well against Wigan and he’s going to get another chance to start this week with Paulie been suspended for this one.”
