Paul Aiton has been given a one match ban for making dangerous contact during Monday’s 46-10 win over Salford City Reds.

Paul Aiton has been hit with a one game ban by the RFL disciplinary committee.

Aiton was charged wit making dangerous contact with Salford City Reds player Martin Gleeson in a Super League Round 18 fixture on Monday June 10.

Aiton submitted an Early Guilty Plea to the offence, which occurred in the 47th minute.

Danny Washbrook and Salford’s Jacob Emmitt also submitted Early Guilty Pleas to Grade A charges of punching in the 46th minute of the same match. Both players lose the right to submit Early Guilty Pleas for 12 months.

Aiton will miss the clash against London Broncos on Sunday 23rd June which will also be the Wildcats 140th anniversary fun day.  Tickets for both the fun day and the game are just £5 for adults and completely free for under 16′s.
