The home of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats will continue to be known as the Rapid Solicitors Stadium in 2014, with Personal Injury law experts Rapid Solicitors again extending their naming rights deal.

Rapid Solicitors have extended their deal until the end of the 2014 campaign.

The Yorkshire-based compensation specialists have held the naming rights for one of rugby league’s most famous venues since 2011. This is part of a portfolio of Rapid’s sports sponsorships, which includes the Elite Ice Hockey League, MotoGP and British Superbikes.

As well as investing in major league sports, the owners of Rapid believe in giving back to the community by supporting grass roots sports and so also have a number of sponsorships with amateur sports clubs.

The firm specialises in fighting for compensation for victims of accident injury and medical/dental negligence. They have successfully helped thousands of injured people claim millions of pounds to compensate them for injuries and seek some measure of justice.

Wildcats Commercial Manager, Martin Hopkins, said: “It’s excellent news that we will, once again, be playing out of the Rapid Solicitors Stadium next season.  Rapid Solicitors is a well-known legal brand in the UK. They’ve provided significant investment to the club in recent years and we’re proud to continue our association with them.”

Martin Ward of Rapid Solicitors said: “I grew up in Wakefield. I still think of it as ‘home’. I love the place. Personally, I love being part of the Wildcats history, too, if only in a small way. Trinity and Rapid make a good partnership, which I hope will continue for years to come.”

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
