The red, white and blue faithful can now vote for their Sandal Post Office Try of the Month for July with five contenders proving stiff competition once again.

Frankie Mariano has two nominations in the July Try of the Month competition.

July was a mixed month for the Wildcats as they won two and lost two of their four matches but at the same time were unlucky in their back-to-back defeats to Leeds. The tries this month are spread across the four games with some fantastic efforts to choose from.

You can cast your vote later on today via the clubs social media on Facebook and Twitter with the winning try being the one that receives the most votes. One supporter who correctly chooses the winning score will win a pair of tickets to a Super League game at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium in 2013.

Paul Sykes’ 100th career try against Salford was the winner of June’s Try of the Month with Joanne Jackson winning a pair of tickets for a home game of his choice.  The club are asking Joanne to contact the club so he can receive his prize after retweeting her favourite score.

You can watch the five contenders for the Sandal Post Office Try of the Month for July on Wildcats TV while there is a summary of each score below:

1. Peter Fox second try vs Hull FC- After a break from Kyle Amor, Paul Aiton is tackled 10 metres out from the line. From the resulting play Tim Smith puts in a world class kick to corner for Peter Fox to leap up, take the ball and score the try.

2. Frankie Mariano vs Widnes- Ben Cockayne capitalises on the free play rule by kicking through and regathering before passing over the top for Frankie Mariano to score.

3. Matty Wildie vs Widnes- Great work from Washbrook and Mariano releases Ben Cockayne on the wing who draws in the full-back before passing to Matty Wildie who has the pace to get over the line.

4. Paul Aiton second try vs Leeds (home)- Ali Lauitiiti produces a trademark offload to Lee Smith who sprints through before offloading himself to Tim Smith who lays it on a plate for Paul Aiton to score.

5. Frankie Mariano vs Leeds (home)- A quick play the ball from Danny Washbrook allows Paul Aiton to pass onto Richard Mathers whose long flat ball releases Mariano who races through unchallenged.
