Wildcats prop Justin Poore is already looking forward to lining up with the Wildcats in 2014.
Poore signed on a two-year deal at the start of 2013 and says he wants to be part of the Trinity squad taking on Super League XIX.
Speaking in Monday’s Yorkshire Evening Post, Poore says he has loved his first year in West Yorkshire and thanked the Wildcats fans for playing their part in making him feel so welcome.
“It has been awesome, I have really enjoyed my time here,” the former St George-Illawarra, Parramatta and New South Wales front-rower said of his debut season as a Wildcat.
“I think the Wakey fans have taken to me, which has been good. It has been a lot tougher than I thought and I’ve made some lifelong friends.
“That’s what it’s all about. It has been a tough season for us and I am looking forward to a bit of a break to go home and see my family, but I can’t wait for next year. I am looking forward to coming back and starting again.”
“I will definitely be here. I have signed a two-year contract and I will definitely be coming back.
“As long as we have the same coaching staff I will be here, because Richard Agar and Webbo (assistant-boss James Webster) have been awesome with me.
“I really think Wakey has got some of the best fans. They stick with us through thick and thin.
“There was a time when we lost six in a row and they still came in their droves. That means a lot to us and they are the ones who get us through to the next week.”
