Following last week’s Supporters Trust public meeting, the club are inviting those wishing to volunteer for the club to put themselves forward.

The club are inviting volunteers to come forward.

It was suggested by an attendee at the open meeting that individuals may wish to volunteer their services to help the club and Chairman Michael Carter is calling on those who think they have the skill set and time to help the club to get in contact.

Whether you can spare a couple of hours or more in the week or at weekends and have skills that you feel the club can put to use then we’d like to hear from you.

The club are particularly keen for individuals to volunteer as Club 1873 canvassers. Over the coming months, the Lottery department will be canvassing door-to-door all over the Wakefield area to build cash collection rounds.

Once a local round has been set up this where YOU the supporters can play your part in collecting the money for the club. All we ask for is a couple hours of your spare time one night a week to collect the money and in return you will receive:

-          Commission on what you collect, anything between 10-20% depending on how many you collect.

-          A free season ticket when you collect 50 members or more each week.

-          10% off in the Wildcats retail stores.

The club are anticipating a huge take up in agents and supporters will be placed on a waiting list until the round in their chosen area has been canvassed and is also on a first come, first served basis.

If you feel you could volunteer your time to help out with the Lottery department or in any other area of the club then please email info@wakefieldwildcats.co.uk with your contact details and where you feel you’d be able to assist the club.

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
