INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN COACHING DEPARTMENT

The Wildcats have two exciting opportunities to work within the clubs football department in the 2014 season.

The club have two exciting internship opportunities within the coaching department.

The positions available are as below:

Strength & Conditioning Assistant

Wakefield Wildcats are offering an internship opportunity for a student or graduate from a university sports science or sports coaching related course from the end of October 2013 to the end of September 2014.

Work will predominately be in strength and conditioning with its related administration.

This area is also covered by full-time staff and the intern would be trained in any area of non-specialisation. You should have relevant previous experience in this area of specialisation and should be someone who is looking to propel their career in strength & conditioning.

Performance Analyst

Wakefield Wildcats are offering an internship opportunity for a student or graduate from a university sports analyst coaching related course from the end of October 2013 to end of September 2014.

Work will predominately be in the football department with its related administration. This area is also covered by full-time staff and the intern would be trained in any area of non-specialisation.

The Wildcats feel both roles are a great opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience inside a professional club, working in state of the art training facilities amongst some of the top players and coaches in the country.

Both roles are part-time, with working hours agreed in discussion with the relevant members of staff.
