Huddersfield Giants Half-back and newly announced Scotland RL player Danny Brough was crowned 2013 Super League Man of Steel on Monday.

RLWC2013 have launched the #bethere video.

Having made ‘the greatest impact on the 2013 season’, Brough collected the award at a gala presentation dinner at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester.

Brough, who has recently been confirmed in the Scotland squad ahead of RLWC2013, has had a tremendous year for the Giants, and kicked 129 goals in 2013. Brough will be one of the Bravehearts’ greatest assets ahead of their opening game at Derwent Park, Workington on October 29.

The star-studded event also saw our newest #bethere video launched.

The new video contains a compilation of video messages from fans, who tell us why they will #bethere at RLWC2013.

It included volunteers, Super League fans, schools and event goers telling us their reasons for buying a ticket to the global sporting event of 2013.

“Speaking to fans about RLWC2013 and hearing how excited they are really excites the players and the staff here that are working hard to make the tournament a pleasurable success for everyone,” said RLWC2013 Communications & PR Manager Martin Johnston.

“Our 50 days to go campaign saw an influx of positive messages across social media and really outlined the breadth of engagement and excitement for RLWC2013.”

In the video, which can be viewed online on RLWC2013’s YouTube channel, we hear how Dan Shakespeare recently bought 52 tickets for RLWC2013, and can’t wait to be there.

In another clip, we see Warrington-born Carl Bennett in Boston, Massachusetts, telling us why he’ll be rooting for the USA Tomahawks from the stands at RLWC2013.

On the back of the Olympics, which saw the nation get excited about sports they had never before seen, RLWC2013’s #bethere campaign shows that travelling fans, families and event-goers, some who will be witnessing their first RL game at RLWC2013, have bought their ticket to be there.

With 25 days to go and tickets flying out, make sure you don’t miss your chance to #bethere to witness Rugby League World Cup 2013.

Ticket are available from just £20 for adults and £10 for concessions. Visit www.rlwc2013.com or call 0844 847 2013 to buy yours today. #bethere
