England Knights winger Ben Cockayne has completed his move to Hull Kingston Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

Ben Cockayne has completed his move to Hull KR.

The 30-year old returns to Craven Park after two years with the Wildcats in which he earned a call-up to the England Elite Training Squad and represented England Knights against Samoa in October.

He made 53 appearances for Trinity, scoring 27 tries and has signed a two-year deal with the Robins.

The Wildcats can also confirm that Vince Mellars has left the Rapid Solicitors Stadium by mutual consent and that Liam Kay has turned down a contract offer from the club.

The club thank all for their efforts in the red, white and blue and wish them well in the future.
