During the past three years the Youth Development Programmes at the Wildcats have increasingly attracted high quality people with a desire to develop the club’s future players whilst achieving personal development opportunities and adding value to the programs that exist whilst enabling additional support mechanisms to be put in place.

Job opportunities within the youth development programme.

The programmes continue to develop and expand, and as part of that extension the Wildcats are inviting expressions of interest for the following roles within the U16 Academy (Scholarship) programme:

  • Coaching
  • Performance Analysis
  • Player Mentoring
  • Talent Identification
  • Team Management

All roles are voluntary and you should have a particular desire to support the development of people, take a personal interest in self-development and be driven to add value to the programmes.

Experiences and expertise in fields other than ‘coaching’ can be incorporated within the programmes and you are encouraged to apply if you feel you can add value to a youth development environment. The environment is positive and supportive of all participants and there are internal development opportunities.

Applications, including an appropriate CV highlighting suitability for the role(s), should be received by Ryan Hudson (Youth Development Manager) at no later than 5pm on 22nd November.

Should you require additional information please contact either John Kain – Player Performance Manager who manages the U16 Academy programmes via or Ryan Hudson.
