LOCAL SCHOOL CHILDREN REWARDED FOR ATTENDANCE

posted on 20 January 2014

A group of local schoolchildren were rewarded for their excellent attendance record with a VIP visit to the Wildcats last week.

Captain Danny Kirmond and one of the year two pupils.

The year two class taught by Mrs Hunter at Normanton Infants School had the best attendance in the school during the last term.

After arriving at the Stadium the young people were treated to a full stadium tour, looking behind the scenes at the first team dressing rooms, press room and hospitality areas.

One such hospitality area was the Legends Suite where the Trinity catering staff treated the class to a scrumptious chocolate fudge cake and ice cream and the Community Trust staff put memories to the test with a fun quiz on the Wildcats.

It was then the young people’s chance to set the questions as they were joined by Wildcats captain Danny Kirmond for a Q&A session.

A fantastic time was had by all and any schools who wish to reward their children in the same vein are asked to contact Jo Riddell via jo.riddell@wakefieldwildcats.co.uk
