If you’re looking for a different way to keep fit then the new Zumba and street dance classes at the Wildcats every Monday could be for you.

Zumba is coming to the Wildcats every Monday night.

The Latin-inspired dance-fitness programme continues to grow in popularity as a fun way of getting in shape and you can now try it out for yourself for just £2.50 a week (7pm – 8pm) as part of the ‘Door Step’ programme.

It is part of the larger ‘StreetGames’ sports charity that aims to bring sport to the doorsteps of disadvantaged communities across the country.

As part of the Wakefield Trust’s involvement with the programme, a touch rugby competition will be launched soon so keep checking the website for details of where, when and how you can sign up.

However, if Zumba’s not for you and you’re a man between the ages of 30 and 45 then a new rugby fit programme on a Monday night might be just what you need.

Whether it’s for fitness or for meeting new people, the Zumba and street dance classes every Monday are for you whether you’re a complete novice or more experienced.

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
