Wildcats winger, Peter Fox is excited to be playing alongside the new recruits at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

Peter Fox is excited about the potential within the Wildcats squad.

The squad was late coming together with a combination of visa delay’s and injuries, but with almost an entire squad at full fitness and two wins under the belt, Trinity’s class of 2014 are beginning to take shape.

Sunday sees Fox and his teammates travel to Hull KR where Fox spent four largely successful years as part of a side that finished in the top four in Super League and where his form earned him international honours.

Fox scored 56 tries with the Robins and in addition to his tries for the Wildcats, York City Knights and England, he is just two scores away from 150 career four-pointers.

However, Fox is more than happy to take team success over career milestones.

“I want to win,” said Fox.  “We want to stay up so if I don’t score all year but we still stay up I’m happy.

“I feel in top condition and the coaches say that I’m going well.  I really enjoy it here, it’s the club where I made my debut and it’s like a home to me.  The lads and coaching staff are brilliant and the club’s good to me.

“We’re confident.  I know we got beat last week which was disappointing but in the last three games we’ve built relationships with each other and the new lads that have come in.  The team and squad are growing because it’s all brand new.

“We didn’t get much of a pre-season together so it’s exciting.  All the new lads that have come in have brought something different which has made us a completely different team from last year.

“I think there’s a lot more to come from us and I’m excited to play with all these players.  Nick Scruton I played with when I was at Leeds Academy and he’s a really tough forward.  He was in the England squad at one point so it’s exciting to be playing with him.”

Tickets for the game at the KC Lightstream Stadium are no longer on sale from the club.  Tickets will be available on the gate priced at £25 for adults, £18 for concessions (students and over 60′s) and £14 for juniors (under 16′s).  Junior swaps are available on the day of the game.

Trinity fans will be housed in the new North Stand at the KC Lightstream Stadium and Rovers have put together this handy guide for visiting supporters on all you’ll need to know.
