Wakefield Trinity Wildcats is proud to be a Supporting Partner of Sport Relief 2014.
In the build-up to the Sport Relief Games taking place on 21-23 March, our Day to Remember Scheme will provide thousands of underprivileged children and adults with an opportunity to experience live Rugby League action.
Operating in England, local businesses will be able to give a day to remember to their community through making a donation to the scheme. Thanks to these kind donations, these worthy groups are able to be part of something extraordinary and enjoy the world-class sport on show.
Sport Relief will receive 25% of the proceeds to support their work to change lives at home and abroad. For more information about Sport Relief please visit: www.sportrelief.com
We will support local businesses to donate money to the Sports Relief Day to Remember Scheme. These donations will be converted into tickets for our fixture against St Helens on Sunday 23rd March.
Alternatively, you could choose a fixture later on in the season to meet your corporate needs. Tickets will be distributed by the Wakefield Community Trust in conjunction with Rugby League Cares and Sport Relief to groups who would not normally be able to attend a game. These involve nominated charities, local schools, community organisations, families from deprived areas and existing Sport Relief projects.
How much do you need to donate?
Support has mostly started with £500 and businesses can donate as much as they would like. £500 equates into a minimum of 100 child tickets or 50 adult tickets. You may also choose to provide a box in corporate hospitality to provide a really exciting experience.
What are the benefits?
This forms part of a companys Corporate Social Responsibility and is truly a great cause. Companies that donate can also receive additional benefits such as logos and links on the official Club and foundation websites, presentations on the pitch at the game with photo opportunity. Each club will have bespoke benefits available. Please contact us for more details.
