Mr Lowe Vs The World is an event in support of the 2014 Sport Relief campaign and presents Kingfisher Primary School’s Year 5 teacher, Mr Lowe, with as many different sporting challenges as possible.

So far challenges have included BMX riding, basketball shooting, running, canoeing, darts, fencing and even wrestling! The legacy of the event is to expose children to as many different locally-available sports as possible, with the hope that many of the children will find a sport that they can enjoy and be successful in.

With the support of ACS Doncaster challenges are being filmed and published on a YouTube channel (search Mr Lowe vs The World) to help gain interest among the pupils for the sports.

For each challenge that Mr Lowe loses one mile is added to a total. On the morning of Sport Relief (Friday 21st March), he must run that total distance to school and be ready to teach his class by 9am (so far Mr Lowe has accumulated 20 miles).

This Sunday, Mr Lowe and his team will take on a side consisting of former rugby league and Trinity greats, plus some of the areas best amateurs in a game of touch rugby.

The game will take place before the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats match V Catalan Dragons
