SCRUTON AND RILEY SET TO MAKE WILDCATS BOW

posted on 7 March 2014

Nick Scruton and Chris Riley are in line to make their Wildcats debuts on Sunday after Richard Agar named his 19-man squad to face Catalans Dragons.

Nick Scruton is set to debut against the Dragons.

Riley arrived on loan on Friday afternoon and has gone straight into the squad with the Wildcats without the suspended Dean Collis and injured Jimmy Keinhorst as options in the outside backs.

Agar is still unable to call on the services of Scott Anderson (knee), Andy Raleigh (hamstring), Richard Moore (hamstring and calf) and Chris Annakin (knee) in the front row, leaving just three recognised props in the squad in the shape of Scruton, Daniel Smith and Taulima Tautai.

Jon Molloy is included for the first time in 2014 with Kyle Trout and Lucas Walshaw the men to miss out.  Harry Siejka is not in the squad with the half-back enduring travel delays and is not expected to arrive in the UK any earlier than Saturday morning.

The 19-man squad in full is:

Richard MATHERS

Peter FOX

Reece LYNE

Paul SYKES

Pita GODINET

Paul McSHANE

Danny WASHBROOK

Matty WILDIE
