Both the Wildcats under 16′s and under 19′s Academy sides will face their own local derby clashes this weekend.

The under 19's will be out to claim bragging rights of their own this weekend.

The under 16′s who will be without Liam Paisley and Will Dagger who are representing England in France, travel to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Saturday lunchtime (kick-off: 12pm) looking to build on their impressive opening results.

For Stu Dickens and his under 19′s side, they will be looking to add to their recent win at Hull KR and have named a squad including Max Jowitt.

However, Dickens will not be able to call on the services of two of the more senior members of the group with captain Corbyn Kilday and Cameron Leeming both ruled out through injury.

We caught up with the under 19′s head coach ahead of the derby and you can listen to his thoughts on the game and the start to the season HERE.

The 19-man squad is: Anderson, Conway, Douglas, Griffiths, Holt, Johnstone, Jowitt, Kittrick, Lee, Maskill, Morris, Moules, Powell, Sampson, Stone, Swan, Teanby, Walton, Ware.

Kick-off is 2pm with entry free to season ticket holders and priced at £4 adults and £2 juniors/concessions for all other supporters.
