Wildcats forward Chris Annakin has been banned for five games by the RFL Disciplinary Panel.
Annakin was charged with a dangerous throw on Roy Asotasi in the 38th minutes of Sunday’s game with Warrington Wolves, a grade D charge that he pleased guilty to.
Annakin had no option of an early guilty plea and means he will miss games against Bradford Bulls, London Broncos, Wigan Warriors, Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos.
Annakin has previously served a two-match ban for a dangerous throw when on loan at Workington.
Ben Westwood was given a three game ban for a dangerous throw on Scott Anderson in the same game.
