Wildcats Chairman Michael Carter and Director Chris Brereton have thanked supporters for their continued support.

Dear supporter,

The comeback victory on Sunday against Hull FC was a memorable win and certainly a continued step in the right direction. The players, coaching staff and directors truly appreciate the support the fans give both home and away and the backing for the players at the KC Stadium was excellent. The impact of your support will never be underestimated by ourselves and for that support we would like to thank you.

June and July will see the team face a run of five home games with a valuable ten competition points on offer. The visit of London Broncos to the Rapid Solicitors Stadium on Friday 13th June will see a unique event and one that celebrates our city and the sport of Rugby League from 5pm.

We would like to create an event at which supporters can join us to congratulate, appreciate and support the sport of rugby league in our city. Amateur teams, schools, ex-players and ‘Hall of Fame’ legends will be invited for a series of tournaments, pitch parades and ‘meet and greet’ sessions at which fun and enjoyment will be paramount.

We would also like to hear from you about other ideas and suggestions that you may have to enable us to further improve and support the event. Please email andymorgan@wakefieldwildcats.co.uk if you have any suggestions.

Attendance to this matchday event, which includes a ticket for the London Broncos fixture that evening, will cost £10 for Adults, £6 for concessions and £1 for juniors if bought in advance. Season pass holders will of course be free.

We are working extremely hard and diligently to ensure that next year we are in Super League. We are building a business model focused upon realistic, achievable targets that ensure the club can financially support itself and create a positive impact for the wider community of Rugby League. Please be assured that your support is contributing towards a stronger club.

Thank you to you all for helping to build a legacy for the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Yours sincerely,

Michael Carter (Chairman) and  Chris Brereton (Director)

Further details of the evening will be released in the coming weeks. Tickets are available from the Ridings Centre Store, the Rapid Solicitors Stadium Box Office, by calling 01924 201548/211611.

With the Rapid Solicitors Stadium continuing to operate at a reduced capacity, supporters are advised to purchase early to avoid disappointment.
