The Wildcats have signed Huddersfield Giants forward Jacob Fairbank on a one-month loan deal.
24-year old Fairbank has made 20 Super League appearances in all having previously spent time on loan at London Broncos and Bradford Bulls. He has also featured for Batley Bulldogs on dual registration.
“We’ve been in a little bit of a period where we’ve picked some injuries up and we’ve got some guys who are getting back to match fitness,” said Wildcats head coach, Richard Agar.
“We felt that it will boost our ranks in the middle of the field, initially for a month. He’s got a terrific engine and a really good tradesman so we think he’ll boost our squad and cover one or two issues we’ve got with injuries and fitness.”
