Ali Lauitiiti is in line to make his return from injury against Widnes Vikings.

Lauitiiti limped from the field at Headingley Carnegie in April with what was feared could be a season ending knee injury but the veteran forward has fought his way back to full fitness aided by altitude training at Sheffield Hallam University, details of which can be seen on Super League TV later this week.

Lauitiiti’s return is one of three changes to James Webster’s 19-man squad to that named to face Leeds Rhinos last week.  Pita Godinet and Daniel Smith both miss out with knee injuries, with Godinet facing a prolonged spell on the sidelines whilst Smith’s injury is not as serious.

Matty Wildie and Chris Annakin come into the squad with Annakin having served his five-match suspension.  Max Jowitt is the other player to drop out from the squad named last week.  The squad in full is:

Richard MATHERS

Reece LYNE

Paul SYKES

Scott ANDERSON

Danny WASHBROOK

Matty WILDIE

Matt RYAN

Richard MOORE

Taulima TAUTAI
