Over 200 people were in attendance to celebrate the Wildcats Academy 2014 season on Monday night, with the evening sponsored by Thwaites Brewery.
Players, coaching staff, scouts and volunteers were joined by friends and family to celebrate the campaign for both the Scholarship and Academy sides in a year that has seen some significant milestones.
For the first time in the clubs history, members of the Academy trained full-time whilst studying with the Wildcats Sport & Education Academy, accelerating their player development but also providing them with a qualification should they ultimately be offered a first team contract in the years to come.
2014 also saw both Will Dagger and Liam Paisley represent England Youth whilst Jordan Crowther and Max Jowitt both made first team debuts at just 17 years of age.
