The full-time roles are for a team doctor and a physiotherapist with full details below:

Team doctor

This is an exciting opportunity for the right applicant. The post offers the opportunity to be involved with elite level Rugby League.

There is an unrivalled opportunity to work with a squad of elite athletes and also to join a forward thinking team of committed back room staff in a professional and friendly atmosphere.

The post involves:

• Match day attendance at all home and away first team games
• Match day attendance at all home games at Academy and Scholarship level
• Care of players off the field during the week
• Referral of players for scans and/or specialist opinion
• Annual CRY testing of players
• Pre-­‐season baseline COGSport testing
• Ensuring medical supplies and equipment are up to date
• Other duties as necessary

Full GMC registration,IMMOFP qualification and appropriate defence body cover are essential.
Sports medicine qualification is desirable.

This role may suit a job share opportunity if appropriate.

Salary is negotiable.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats would like to appoint a full time Physiotherapist. This is an exciting oppotunity for a highly motivated person to be involved with elite athletes within Super League.

This is a full time position. The successful candidate will be the lead Physiotherapist for the Under 19′s squad and assist management of the 1st team squad. You will report to the head Physiotherapist, 1st team and under 19′s coaches and liaise closely with the Strength & Conditioning staff, also, the U16′s Physiotherapist.

Candidates are required to be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Preferably have a current IMMOFP cirtificate. Ideally qualified for 2 years + and had experience working within professional sport (Rugby League an advantage). Some experience of strapping would be helpful.

Main responsibilities:

. Assessment and treatments of players
. Screening of players
. Management of U19 clinics and assistance with 1st team
. Electronic database statistics updates
. Match day strapping and pitch-side monitoring of players at U19 level for every game.

Salary dependent on experience.
