CHAIRMAN RETURNS CASH AND CREATES CLUB 1873 COMPETITION

posted on 21 October 2014

Michael Carter is the latest winner of the £250 Club 1873 jackpot.

The Club Chairman has refused to accept the cash prize and has returned his winnings back to the club for further investment into youth development.

Club 1873 is just £1 a week and each member gets a line of seven randomly selected unique numbers that go into the draw for a £250 cash prize and all the daily prizes.

Jacqueline Orme, Jeanette Francis, Phillip Holden, Paul Price and Jonathan Harpin all won a runners up prize of a £10 Wildcats retail voucher.

On top of this week's winners, Michael Carter has announced a competition that he is running this month. All Club 1873 members that are also 2015 season ticket holders will go into a draw to win a 2015 replica shirt signed by a player of your choice, bought by Michael. The winner will be announced on Monday 3rd November.

All money raised through the lottery is fed back into the clubs youth development programme which has helped attract, nurture and retain the area’s best young talent such as Jordan Crowther, Max Jowitt and Tom Johnstone.

A new daily prize has been added with a steak dinner for two including a bottle of wine up for grabs at The Six Chimney’s (Wetherspoons) and you can find out all the daily prize winners by following @Club1873 on Twitter.
