Tomorrow morning our first team squad and coaching staff head off to their first of two pre season training camps.

The resort is situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales set in 650 acres of glorious Welsh countryside, has played host to the Welsh rugby union team during their many Six Nations triumphs in recent years, in addition to Cardiff Blue RUFC and Wales' second biggest football club, Cardiff City.

It boasts to having six full sized football/rugby pitches, one of which is 3G European standard, three half size pitches and an indoor training pitch.

Wildcats Head Coach, James Webster said, "The major benefit of going away to the camp is that we can guarantee first class training facilities regardless of the weather."

"We will be taking our first team squad to the camp which will allow us to work closely at both attack and defence as a team."

It will be the first pre season James Webster will be the Wildcats head coach after taking over the role from Richard Agar towards the end of the 2014 season.

"Pre season as usual has been really tough but I am extremely happy with how the boys are striving to get better physically", Webster continues.

"Unfortunately we have picked up a few niggles here and there, for precautionary reasons we have kept these players out on the side-lines, but there isn't anything too major to worry about."

In January the squad will head to Wales this time to Eirias Park in north Wales for a two-day camp less than a month out from the start of the new campaign.
